Horrible week

Well, it has been a horrible week.  Adeline and her rash, ugh.  Her body is better now but her poor little face.  She is just not the bubbly little girl that we all know and love. She has lost her happy spirit quite a bit.  I just hate seeing my babies not feel good.

I am so worried about her though.  She doesn't eat good.  When I put food in her mouth, she gags, spits it out, sticks her tongue out of her mouth.  I have never seen a baby behave in this way before.  Anyone have any insight?  I don't know what to do.  I don't want to force feed her but if I let her, she will never eat.  She takes her bottles fine but she can't just have bottles.  I wonder if she is teething? She has two bottom teeth already, could she be getting her top two?  Would that cause this behavior.

I worked today.  Not fun.  I hate being away from my babies sometimes but sometimes I don't, ha.

Come home from work to find one of my babies has a full body rash, hmmmmm.  Any ideas what the hell this could be?  I have a good idea that it could be a good reason as to why we were up pretty much all night with her.  She was uncomfortable, I could tell but didn't see any rash (it was dark).  It seems to be itchy to her.  We NEVER go out of the house.  We went to my mom's two days ago and my 3 year old nephew was there and he had a rash but my sister said that it was due to an allergy to antibiotics.  I wasn't concerned then.  I am thinking now that it is likely a virus that he had.  What are the odds that we never go anywhere, never are around anyone.  My older kids haven't been home for several days.  We didn't give her any new food, no new detergent.  I have thought of everything (been around the block a few times).  

I am thinking that my nephew had a virus and she caught it.  Well, her sister hasn't gotten it yet, finger's crossed.  Oatmeal baths, oatmeal aveeno baby lotion, etc, here we come........

Resolution

It's Jan. 1.  I don't usually do the whole new years resolution thingy but I am thinking that I might this year.  I don't think you HAVE to have your new years resolution in before the stroke of midnight.  I will think about it today and see what I come up with.  If I can't think of anything today, then there is always tomorrow to think about it.....

I wonder what other people are doing for their resolutions?????

NEW YEARS!!!!!

It's New Year's eve, 9:30p.m.  Just put the babies to bed. Spending the afternoon with the hubby and we are enjoying Dexter Season 3.  LOVE IT.

How do I get my 8 month old baby to STAY asleep for naps.  I can get her down pretty good but she only sleeps for about 30 minutes (45 if I am lucky).  I can't force her to nap.  I can't tape her eyelids closed (DCFS would surely be called).  I am going to lose my mind........

Suggestions anyone????

First blog

Today is the day of my first blog.  I have never blogged before nor have I read other blogs.  I was feeding my twins this morning and Adeline was giving me a hard time eating and I was wondering what I could do to change this dilemma and I thought it would be nice to get other mom's perspective.

I am a wife and mom of 5.  I have a 10 year old son, a 7 year old step-daughter, a 6 year old son and twin 8 month old girls.  I have been down the mommy path before but this twin thing is something else.  I feel crazy at times and I thought it would be nice to hear what others may have to say.

My goal in my blogs will be to share.  Ask questions, give my opinions, and maybe even share recipes.  I plan to just have fun with this and I hope there are others out there who will see my blogs and join me.
